Next week, January 20-27, 2008, marks the 35th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions that legalized abortion in the United States. Called “Sanctity of Human Life Week,” the week is a great annual opportunity to spread the message that we all must value human life because God values human life. Focus on the Family has launched a great site full of Sanctity of Human Life Week resources called Be a Voice for Life.
South Portland Church of the Nazarene has a great page for random acts of kindness. Great tips for church members during the holidays, but all could be adapted to all audiences for any time of the year.

I am excited to announce that MaineChristian.com’s Christian Events directory is now live! For several years, MaineChristian.com has provided a link to Positive 89.3’s event listing, but now the site has its own listing, which is tied to the Church Directory for those events taking place at a church.
I’ll soon have a page for people to add events to the database directly (pending administrative approval, like Links), but for now people can contact me to have an event added. Any event in Maine that is of a Christian nature can be listed (speakers, concerts, seminars, conferences, etc.), but I maintain the right to disallow any event for any reason. Please check it out and tell me what you think!
